NYC Immersion Program is designed for Australian and UK businesses expanding into the US, with New York as their market entry point.

This fully curated program offers carefully selected companies the opportunity to connect with relevant New York City networks to facilitate a successful USA market entry. Businesses who have started to scale into the USA, and require additional traction in NYC are also encouraged to apply.

Criteria

Simple: Prove to us you are ready for the USA market, (here are some guidelines):

  • Proven product-market fit in Australia
  • You require warm introductions to prospects in your sales pipeline, and to tap my extensive USA network
  • You want warm introductions to investors
  • You are hungry for sales and maybe looking for top talent to represent your business
  • You are committed to scaling into the USA market – this isn’t a research mission.

How do I apply?

When applications are open, companies apply on our website. Your sales pitch deck will be required.

Is this a virtual, hybrid or in-person program?

We are currently planning for a hybrid program, ie a combination of virtual and in-person meetings in New York City. However, all participants need to be flexible, as we may change the program to be fully virtual.

If participants prefer to have investor/prospects meetings in-person and travel to New York City, let us know so we can organise the meetings for you.

Who are the Partners involved in the Program?

Since 2017, we have partnered with New York’s most experienced and valuable supporters of foreign companies scaling into the USA. Government, Lawyers, Accountants, Strategists, PR/Marketing Professionals are just some partners within our close network.

We have organized individual pitch meetings for past participants with major investment groups including Golden Seeds, Newark Venture Partners just to name two.

We have organized one-to-one meetings with over 50 companies for partnership discussions with companies including Discover Global Network, Weight Watchers, Macy’s, Bank of America, Mastercard, GeekGirlWeb, EBay, just to name a few.

How many places are available in the program?

A maximum of 15 companies (1 representative from each company) can participate in the program. Additional employees pay a small additional stipend.

When can I apply?

“Register Now” for the program and you will be the first to receive updates when applications open.

When will I find out if I have been accepted into the program?

When applications open, FD Global Connections reviews all applicants to determine readiness for the US market. Dates to be advised.

Who can apply for the Program?

Businesses from around the globe who are expanding into the USA can apply for the program.

It is mandatory for participants to attend all webinars, presentations and meetings.

What else do I need to know?

We do not:

  • Take Equity from participating companies
  • Own the Intellectual Property of any participants. All Intellectual Property developed by the applicants is retained by each respective applicant
  • Guarantee the ultimate success of each participants entry into the USA market.
