CEO, Trena Blair Wins Gold And Silver Stevie® Awards in Las Vegas


Women Around the World Recognized at Event in Las Vegas

Sydney, NSW – November 12, 2022 – Trena Blair, Founder and CEO, FD Global Connections, has been named the winner of 2 Stevie® Awards in the Female Entrepreneur Categories, announced in Las Vegas at the 19th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners last night during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The event was broadcast via Livestream and you can watch the announcement here and what these awards mean to me here.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.

Trena won Gold for Best Female Entrepreneur in Asia, Australia or New Zealand Business Services (10 or Less Employees), and Silver for Best Female Entrepreneur (Global), Business Services (10 or Less Employees).

Trena said, “I accept these Gold and Silver Awards on behalf of my Australian and UK clients who dare to dream big. They have entrusted me to prepare, launch and scale them into the United States. We focus on achieving commercial outcomes, using FD Global Connections proprietary methodologies. Without my clients, these award would not be possible.”

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on eight juries.
